Shore Educational Collaborative offers special educational and day services for behaviorally and academically challenged students and adults. The Collaborative also offers consultation, professional development and operational services to educators and school administrators. Each year, the Collaborative serves more than 150 students, 300 adults and 3,000 educators. Shore’s staff of highly trained and experienced professionals and specialists delivers a wide variety of customized programs and services. Students and adults receive individualized attention to help them reintegrate into traditional school environments and to participate productively in their communities.

Founded in 1975 as a chartered educational collaborative and public entity under Massachusetts law, Shore was originally focused on services for special needs students from pre-school through 22 years of age. Today, Shore has evolved into a multi-purpose educational agency serving students and adults with disabilities and providing professional development seminars, consultation, and financial billing services. Shore has the most extensive level of educational and day training programs for adults with disabilities of all the Collaboratives in the Commonwealth. Educational programs for students and adults serve people from the Greater Boston and North Shore areas.
